I am an educator who has encountered many difficulties and benefits with the education system. Through my experiences in the fields of public, Montessori, private and home schooling and college, I found that all have their pros and cons. I decided I wanted to take the best of each of the institutions and reframe the way we think about education. The educational system I have created, with my students in mind, is a community that enriches each students lives through personalized lessons, encouragement, peer learning techniques, life skills and the ability to learn their own gifts and talents, free from social pressures and judgement. Our goal is to raise funds to grow our community, house more students, incorporate more courses and hire a team of visionaries who want to reframe the education system by using what is working, while learning from others who are seeing success from their programs and communities. My goal is to have my students at college level before 9th grade and have them focus on their skills, talents and interests through college, trade centers and on-line learning platforms, while under the care and influence of educators and peers.
